We’ll begin with the body, using qigong to open energy blocks through the kidney system and tapping into the wisdom of this ancient remedy dance. We’ll draw on various sets to support kidney nourishing. This can help with physical ailments such as insomnia, anxiety, weak low back/knees, poor digestion, too hot/too cold symptoms, and overall immune strength. Releasing fear is important to do approaching the heart of winter (solstice), allowing yin to brim at the darkest, most creative point in the year.
We’ll also utilize writing and story to support an expanded sense of what’s possible from here. Using writing prompts connecting us directly to our personal place on the planet, we’ll write as yet another way to metabolize what we’ve been through, turning it into wisdom.

No writing or qigong experience is needed.
This workshop is held online, with a recording of the qigong portion available to all participants. We’ll take breaks, and generally orient away from the screen and into our personal spaces. You’ll need enough room to stand with arms spread and lie down, as well as something to write with.
