7 Day Chi Gong Intensive - Equanimity

Sept. 19-25th * 9-10am pst daily * online

Life is unsettling right now. there is an unsteadiness that is penetrating our entire culture. Join me here to cultivate and enliven your innate tools for dealing with adversity, through the body, the breath, the heart. Orienting to the directions, we will align ourselves with the present moment and all the resiliency of our brilliant Earth. The timing is poignantly aligned with the sun sign of Libra, the great balancer of energies; with Fall Equinox, or Mabon, and Rosh Hashanah, a Jewish holiday marking the beginning of the Days of Awe. Like a moving cleanse, this series will hold space for endings and beginnings, one breath at a time.

All classes will also be available by recording to registered participants for a short time. This is an online class. You will receive a link to join prior to the first session. All you need is an internet connection and your bones.

Space is limited. (by registering, you are taking up a slot in the group. please only register if you are committed to participating)

This class is offered by gift economy. Suggested contribution $50-$150. The term “Gift Economy” refers to a culture or community that sees the movement of resources between people as a means to deepen connection, not as competition or commerce.  Here’s some writing on its beauty for community by Sean Feit Oakes. For full scholarship / exchange, please email me.

what past students have said:

“thank you beyond words for your gracious and loving class.  I feel wrapped up by your nurturing and safely strong for the rest of my day.” -Cindy

“After yesterday’s practice, I felt very emotional. Maybe sadness. Maybe it was tiredness. But what I love is that this practice allows me to move through this with out shying away from what arises." -K.S

“I really enjoyed and benefited from the seven day intensive and have kept up daily chi gong since then. In my previous dabblings, I've never done a daily practice even this long.  I have noticed certain shifts that are interesting besides the more expected increase in energy and fluidity in the body, I also notice emotions flowing through with less resistance, speaking with less tendency to censor myself, and overall better digestive health!” - Tina
