“Gratitude is a practice that quiets the mind and brings us back to source. It reconnects us with basic goodness and our personal power….it is the primary wellspring of all religions, the hallmark of the mystic, the source of all true art.” -Joanna Macy
Johanna Macy is a deep teacher of mine, and instilled in me the profound practice of gratitude, and why it matters. Join me for this qigong workshop where we expand this movement meditation into the realm of radical gratitude. We’ll learn a few specific sets to support kidney rejuvenation, bone marrow stimulation, and internal/external alignment. You will be encouraged to continue this practice to support your truest self into the coming year.
From this season of deep slumber the light returns. When we begin with gratitude, we make way for all that is to come.

About the location:
This grove is special to many of you as a place of qigong practice for over a decade. Please bow upon entering this ring of diverse trees, from douglas fir to pine to oak. These trees have witnessed many flocks of humans, and we’ll begin by offering gratitude to them for all their care, inspiration, and presence.
