Dive into a deeper understanding of how and when to reach for plant medicine by learning the elemental map, a framework that extends from Daoist (or TCM) Medicine. Using an energetic system that reflects the landscape, we begin to understand how the body is a terrain, and in turn how to tend it. We’ll discuss personal constitutions and use ourselves to learn how to formulate based on this system. While simple, it offers a depth of perception unknown in western herbal or allopathic medical systems, which center on treating the disease, not the imbalance. We’ll taste different plants and experiment with formulas all in a peaceful yurt surrounded by an herb garden and hardwood forest.

This class is geared towards folks with at least some familiarity with medicinal plants. Teens are welcome.
